Meet The Team

The Invent Energy team are excited by new technologies and how they can help tackle energy sector and decarbonisation challenges.

Our founder is Andrew (Andy) Ross CEng PIEMA MSc NEBOSH. Andy has conceived, developed and then delivered an array of challenging and diverse innovation projects. For example, a multi-million-pound energy test facility, software designed to tackling energy flexibility and customer vulnerability challenges, drone technology projects and many more. Before setting up Invent Energy, Andy worked in a number of roles including as as Technical Director for a major energy infrastructure company and leading the power function for a large technology consultancy.

Andy is also the co-founder of Centre for Energy Equality (cee-uk.com) a social enterprise with a mission to identify, test, develop, and deploy the solutions that will ensure equal access to safe, affordable and sustainable energy across all communities.
